Gingerbread Cookie with Caramel

This is a very simple recipe that takes about 20 minutes. Insanely good.

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (top and bottom heat) and line a 30×20 cm pan with baking paper.
  2. Press the gingerbread dough into the pan in an even layer. Cut the Dumle candies in half and press them into the dough with the cut side facing up.
  3. Sprinkle a little flaky salt on top and bake in the middle of the oven for about 15 minutes, until golden.
  4. Let it cool, then cut into squares.
