When I opened the bottle, I was greeted by a lovely aroma and immediately got the feeling that something rich and full-bodied was waiting ahead.
The wine shows a deep ruby red color with garnet shades. The nose is warm, ripe, intense, and beautifully refined. On the palate, it is complex, smooth, and full-bodied, with generous notes of cherries and ripe plums.
This was yet another beautiful bottle that I received as a 60th birthday gift from my children. Very grateful for such a thoughtful present.
