Blue Hour in the dusk
I’m standing down by Frihamnen, looking out towards the new Älvsborg Bridge and Gothenburg’s iconic Lipstick building.
At last, the old parking deck that once blocked the view has been removed, revealing a much more beautiful perspective of the waterfront and the city skyline.
A ship is approaching the bridge, and suddenly the traffic comes to a standstill. Slowly, the bridge begins to rise, making way for the vessel to continue its journey along the river.
It’s a fascinating sight, where city life, architecture and maritime traffic come together in one moment.
Gothenburg, always changing, always worth capturing.
